RECOMMENDATION:

5:32 p.m. Public Hearing for consideration of adopting an Ordinance amending Chapter 86, Article V, of the Escambia County Code of Ordinances, relating to Disclosure Regarding Abutting Roadways.

Recommendation: That the Board adopt an Ordinance amending Chapter 86, Article V, Sections 86-161 through 86-170, of the Escambia County Code of Ordinances relating to Disclosure Regarding Abutting Roadways, adding a requirement that all infrastructure maintenance responsibilities in new subdivisions be disclosed by sellers prior to closing.

BACKGROUND:

At its January 5, 2017 meeting the Board approved setting the Public Hearing for consideration of amending the Disclosure Regarding Abutting Roadways.

County Attorney, Alison Rogers, drafted the proposed amendment and advertised the Notice of Intent in the Pensacola News Journal on February 4, 2017.
