RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning the Purchase of Two R20 John Deere Flex Wing Rotary Cutters - Wes Moreno, Public Works Department Director

That the Board approve the purchase of two R20 John Deere Flex Wing Rotary Cutters, in the amount of $29,338.28 each, for a total of $58,676.56, from Smith Tractor Company, Inc., utilizing Sourcewell Contract Number 021815-DAC (PG1PCG70). These Flex Wing Rotary Cutters will be used for continuing maintenance of the newly-acquired OLF-8 property.

BACKGROUND:

Escambia County has recently acquired the OLF-8 property, which requires the continual maintenance. The purchase of two R20 John Deere Flex Wing Rotary Cutters will be utilized in the mowing/mainteance of this property.
