RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Supplemental Budget Amendment #066 - Stephan Hall, Budget Manager, Management and Budget Services

That the Board adopt the Resolution approving Supplemental Budget Amendment #066, Mass Transit Fund (104) and FTA Capital Projects Fund (320), in the amount of $238,395, to recognize proceeds from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and to appropriate these funds to purchase three buses under 30 feet with lifts. The required match of $23,840 is currently in the 2017/2018 Mass Transit Budget.

BACKGROUND:

Escambia County was awarded funds for the 2016 FTA Grant 1001-2016-8, and these funds need to be recognized to purchase three buses under 30' with lifts.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

This amendment will increase Fund 320 by $238,395 and decrease Fund 104 by $23,840. There is a required match of $23,840. Matching funds are in the Mass Transit Fund (104) and is currently in the 2017/2018 budget.
