RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning Acceptance of a Special Warranty Deed from the City of Pensacola Conveying Property Located at 3910 North Palafox Street (052S301001002017) Back to the County - Amy Lovoy, Assistant County Administrator

That the Board take the following action:

A. Accept the Special Warranty Deed, as provided, from the City of Pensacola conveying property located at 3910 North Palafox Street (052S301001002017) back to the County;

B. Authorize the payment of documentary stamps;

C. Authorize the payment of incidental expenditures associated with the recording of this Special Warranty Deed; and

D. Authorize the Chairman or Vice Chairman to sign all related documents.
BACKGROUND:
In 2011 this parcel associated with the Escambia Treating Site escheated to the County.  In 2012 the County conveyed this property to the City as part of an economic development initiative that the City was pursuing.  This parcel is located on the old Escambia Treating site and would upon transfer from the City become a part of the whole site.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
The estimated annual cost of acquiring the entire Escambia Treating site is estimated at about $50,000 annually.
