RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation Concerning the Renewal of Contract PD 16-17.083 "Signal Response Maintenance" Between Escambia County and Ingram Signalization, Inc. - Joy Jones, P.E., Engineering Department Director

That the Board take the following action:

A. Review and approve the final renewal for Contract PD 16-17.083 (Signal Response Maintenance) with Ingram Signalization, Inc., for 12 months, effective February 7, 2020; and

B. Authorize the County Administrator to sign any documentation necessary to permit the 12-month Contract renewals.

BACKGROUND:
Meeting in regular session on December 14, 2017, the Board reviewed and approved this Contract with Ingram Signalization, Inc. - PD 16-17.083 (Signal Response Maintenance). The Contract was established for a term of 12 months, with the option to renew for two additional 12-month periods, up to a maximum of 36 months, per Section 2 of the attached Maintenance Agreement.  Meeting in regular session on February 7, 2019, the Board voted to approve the first of the 12-month renewal periods.

If approved, this would implement the final of the two additional 12-month renewal periods. Upon Board approval, the final expiry will now be February 7, 2021.   A new Contract will be solicited in December 2020, in advance of the expiration of the renewal of this Maintenance Agreement.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
Funds are available in Fund 175, Transportation Trust Fund, Cost Center 211201, Object Code 54601, and Fund 167, Bob Sikes Toll Facility, Cost Center 140302, Object Code 54601.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:
This Recommendation is in compliance with the Code of Ordinances of Escambia County, FL, 1999 Chapter 46, Finance, Article II Purchases and Contracts. 
IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:
Upon approval of the renewal, Engineering staff will coordinate with Ingram Signalization, Inc.
