RECOMMENDATION:

January 15, 2020, communication from Rudnick Development regarding the consideration of rescheduling the public hearing for the Pine Forest Amendment.

BACKGROUND:

On January 7, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners held a public meeting to review and consider amending the Future Land Use Map, LSA-2019-05. After a review and hearing by the public, the item was tabled.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

No budgetary impact anticipated for this written communication in consideration of the rescheduling of the public hearing for LSA-2019-05.

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS/SIGN-OFF:

There is no legal consideration or sign-off anticipated for this written communication.

PERSONNEL:

No additional personnel needed for this written communication.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:

The proposed action for written communication is consistent with the Board's goal "to increase citizens involvement in, access to, and approval of, County government activities".

IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:

If consideration is given for the rescheduling of the public hearing for LSA-2019-05, Development Services will work with the Escambia County Legal Department to ensure that all of the required policies and procedures are followed accordingly.
