RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning Contract Renewal for Medical Supplies for Escambia County - Paul Nobles, Purchasing Manager, Office of Purchasing

That the Board approve the utilization of the first of two possible one-year renewal periods, as outlined in Section 2, Term of the Agreement, Relating to Medical Supplies with Bound Tree Medical, LLC, per PD 14-15.083, Medical Supplies for Escambia County, retroactive to January 7, 2019. The original Agreement was approved by the Board on January 7, 2016.

BACKGROUND:

The Invitation to Bid PD 14-15.083, Medical Supplies for Escambia County was advertised in the Pensacola News Journal on August 17, 2015 per the Purchasing Policy for utilization of Cooperative Purchase Agreements- PP120. One bid and one "no-bid" were received on September 16, 2016 for the multiple award Contract for the purchase of Medical Supplies for Escambia County.

This recommendation is in compliance with the Code of Ordinance of Escambia County, FL 1999, Chapter 46, Finance, Article II Purchases and Contracts.

IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:

The Office of Purchasing will issue renewal documents.
