Recommendation Concerning the Escambia County Mass Transit Advisory Committee - Mike Crittenden, Mass Transit Director

That the Board review and approve the reinstatement of the Escambia County Mass Transit Advisory Committee (MTAC), which was temporarily suspended by the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners on March 1, 2018.

BACKGROUND:

On March 1, 2018, the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners voted to temporarily suspend the Escambia County Mass Transit Committee (MTAC). The purpose of the suspension is to allow the BOCC to decide how they would like to implement mass transit within the county, after voting to create a special district transit authority at the February 1, 2018 BOCC meeting. At the time the MTAC was temporairly suspended, the current list of MTAC members are listed below.
