Recommendation Concerning the Out-of-County Travel Request for Commissioner Bergosh to Attend the Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding for Project Titan in Singapore, October 22-28, 2018 - Jeff Bergosh, Chairman, District 1

That the Board approve the Out-of-County Travel Request for Commissioner Jeff Bergosh, Chairman of the Board, to attend the Memorandum of Understanding signing for Project Titan in Singapore on October 22-28, 2018.

BACKGROUND:

Commissioner Jeff Bergosh, Board Chairman, received an invitation from Mr Bill Hafner, President, VT Mobile Aerospace Engineering, to attend the Memoranduming of Understanding signing for Project Titan on October 25th and October 26th, 2018, in Singapore.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

Travel expenditures will come from the Board's Fiscal Year 2018-2019 travel budget.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:

Board Policy, Section 1, Part 4{a}, requires Commission approval for Out of County travel by Commissioners, the County Administrator, and the County Attorney.

IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:

Upon Board approval, the County Administrator's Office will coordinate the travel arrangements for this trip with VT Aerospace and Comr. Jeff Bergosh.
