RECOMMENDATION:

5:49 p.m. - A Public Hearing Concerning the Renewal of a Recycling Permit for an Asphalt/Concrete Crushing Recycling and Processing Facility located at 13009 Beulah Road, Cantonment, FL, Escambia County Landfill

That the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) review and approve, modify, or deny the renewal of a Recycling Permit for an existing asphalt/concrete crushing recycling and processing facility located at 13009 Beulah Road, Cantonment, FL, owned by Escambia County.

BACKGROUND:

On October 19, 2017, the Escambia County Board of Commissioners (BCC) authorized the issuance a recycling permit for an Asphalt/Concrete Crushing Recycling and Processing Facility located at 13009 Beulah Road, Cantonment, FL. The date of issuance of the recycling permit was October 19, 2017, (PSP #170600092). This permit is attached hereto as Attachment A.

Pursuant to the conditions of the approved Permit #PSP170600092 and the Escambia County Code of Ordinances governing renewal of such permit, the County received an application from Escambia County Perdido Landfill, requesting a Renewal Permit, prior to the expiration of the current permit on October 18, 2018.

The request renewal permit is attached, see Attachment B.
