RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation Concerning the Request for Disposition of Property for the Florida Department of Health in Escambia County - John J. Lanza, MD, PhD, MPH, FAAP, FHPS, Director and Health Officer, Florida Department of Health, Escambia

That the Board approve the Request for Disposition of Property Form for the Florida Department of Health in Escambia County, declare surplus, and authorize the disposition of the assets shown in the list provided. The assets listed are County assets held and utilized by the Florida Department of Health in Escambia County.

BACKGROUND:

Florida Statutes requires the Board of County Commissioners to declare surplus all assets listed on the County's fixed asset inventory that will be disposed. The equipment is no longer fit for its intended use.

POLICY/REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION:

This recommendation is in compliance with FS 274.07 and BCC Policy B-1,2, Section II, Procedures for Disposition of County Property.

IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION:

Items have minimal residual value. Recommend that items be picked up for recycling.
