Recommendation Concerning the Approval of a Purchase Order with PC Specialists d/b/a Technology Integration Group, for the Escambia County Community Centers, Aruba Access Points - Bart Siders, Information Technology Department Director

That the Board authorize the issuance of a Purchase Order, in excess of $25,000, based upon Quote # 060337 for the licensing, annual support and maintenance of the Aruba Access Points.

BACKGROUND:

The BCC currently has Cisco Wireless Access Points (WAP) that are out of date and past their end of life. With this project, the plan is to replace every Cisco WAP with an Aruba WAP, plus fill in areas with no wireless coverage with additional WAPs.

The Information Technology Department will issue a Purchase Order as soon as possible upon Board Approval.
