Recommendation Concerning Board Award for the First of Two Possible Renewal Periods for Chemical Treatment for County-Owned Equipment - Cassie Boatwright, Director, Facilities Department and Paul Nobles, Purchasing Manager, Office of Purchasing
That the Board approve the first of two possible one-year renewal periods allowed, per the Agreement PD 18-19.088 Chemical Treatment for County-Owned Equipment, with Triple Point Industries, LLC, retroactive to October 1, 2020, in the annual amount of $14,928.

BACKGROUND: |
This solicitation is for chemical treatment to closed-loop systems on County-owned heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning equipment. The technical service and maintenance Contract is essential in preventing scale build-up and corrosion in boilers, cooling towers, evaporative condensers, chillers, and closed recirculating systems.
Specifications for PD 18-19.088, Escambia County Facilities Department purchase of chemical water treatment service, was posted on Vendor Registry beginning July 22, 2019. This solicitation was issued to 60 registrants representing 41 firms. 38 firms viewed the solicitation and 21 firms downloaded the solicitation. One bid response was received on August 21, 2019 at 3:00 PM CDT.
