BACKGROUND: |
Environmental Enforcement (Code) requests quotes from a pool of qualified contractors for the performance of demolition and lot clearing work throughout the year, as needed. The estimated cost of each individual project is below the mandatory formal bid amount of $50,000. The work is awarded based on the lowest quoted cost. The Demolition and Lot Clearing Contractors are qualified through a formal qualification process administered and maintained by the Office of Purchasing. Based on projected activity in Fiscal Year 2019-2020, it is anticipated the cumulative value of Purchase Orders issued to some of the contractors listed may exceed $25,000.
The vendors listed in the table above are qualified as of December 13, 2019; however, this list is non-exclusive. The Department of Natural Resources Management continues to encourage participation of additional contractors. As additional vendors become qualified, the Department will bring forth agenda items as necessary for the Board's consideration. |
