| RECOMMENDATION: |
Recommendation Concerning the Escambia County Public Safety Emergency Operations Center New Video Wall - Paul R. Nobles, Purchasing Manager, Office of Purchasing
That the Board approve and authorize the County Administrator to sign the Agreement Relating to Audio Visual Equipment between Escambia County, Florida, and Pro Sound, Inc., per the terms and conditions of PD 16-17.067, Escambia County Public Safety Emergency Operations Center (EOC) New Video Wall, in the amount of $101,250.

| BACKGROUND: |
| The Office of Purchasing advertised the Invitation to Bid on July 27, 2017. The Pre-Soliciation conference was held at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and three (3) vendors participated. A sealed bid was received from Pro Sound, Inc. on August 15, 2017, and it was deemed responsive. A second bid was received and returned unopened as it was delivered after the deadline for submissions. Escambia County Public Safety Emergency Management Division Manager, John Dosh, approved the selection of Pro Sound, Inc. as the sole reasonable and responsive bidder for this Scope of Work and Specification. |

| IMPLEMENTATION/COORDINATION: |
| The Office of Purchasing will issue the Contract and Purchase Order. The Contract will be administered by the Escambia County Department of Emergency Management. |
