RECOMMENDATION: |
Recommendation Concerning Perdido Key Dune Restoration Project - Paul Nobles, Purchasing Manager, Office of Purchasing
That the Board approve and authorize the County Administrator to sign the Agreement between Escambia County, Florida, and Aquatic Plants of Florida, Inc., per the terms and conditions of PD 16-17.091, Perdido Key Dune Restoration Project, in the amount of $319,026.60.

BACKGROUND: |
The Office of Purchasing advertised the Invitation to Bid on September 18, 2017. Two bidders responded to the solicitation, however, only one bid was received by the due date of October 18, 2017. Matt Posner, Environmental Program Manager for Escambia County Natural Resources Management approved the selection of Aquatic Plants of Florida, Inc. as the lowest reasonable and responsive bidder for this solicitation. |

The Office of Purchasing will issue the Contract and the Escambia County Natural Resources Management Department will be the administrator for this project. |
